About us
The Marine Health Alliance operates under the umbrella of the Saint Lucia National Conservation Fund bringing together community groups, public and private stakeholders, and visitors in a united effort to promote marine conservation.
We focus on practical, impactful actions: reef protection, coastal clean-ups, restoration of mangroves and seagrass beds, and advocacy for the health of our waters. With the growing threats of climate change, rising ocean temperatures, pollution, and storm damage, our work is more crucial than ever.
Our mission is ambitious and multifaceted: to protect, regenerate, and enhance the marine environment that is vital for sustaining both life and livelihoods on our beautiful island. The Alliance supports a wide range of activities including the restoration of natural habitats, the enhancement of ecosystem services, and research into sustainable practices.
Through the generous contributions of our donors, we fund projects that empower local community groups, stakeholders, and environmental initiatives dedicated to expanding our understanding and management of marine ecosystems.
